The Kitchen

Our kitchen is the hub of Taste Nature – it is where the delicious baking smells that emanate through the store come from. In the kitchen we make everything on The Eatery menu, and a variety of Taste Nature products. Our resident baker Mark Connor (ex-Tangente) makes delicious artisan breads and pizza bases on Mondays and Thursdays.

We are passionate about creating vibrant, wholesome and healthy food. We believe the best recipes use simple, fresh, and seasonal ingredients using locally supplied goods wherever possible. Nearly every ingredient is certified organic, and all ingredients used are available in The Grocery Store.

Abundance and preservation – we love to preserve foods when they are abundantly in season – so we are often concocting heavenly jams, preserves, chutneys and sauces which we sell in the store, and use in The Eatery.
