An award winning TranzAlpine Organic Throat and Chest Syrup is a natural formulation built around organic New Zealand Manuka honey. The active ingredients we chose are:
Organic New Zealand Manuka honey. The TranzAlpineHoney Organic Throat and Chest Syrup has a MG550+ rating. The ‘MG’ is a little something called Methylglyoxal and is what makes Manuka honey so special. Scientific research has shown it’s the naturally occurring MG that’s unique to Manuka honey, giving its superfood properties. The Manuka MG550+ rating means this syrup has the highest level of unique properties from this native New Zealand honey.
Propolis is made by bees to repair and protect their hives. It’s is high in bioflavonoids which are types of antioxidant that may help protect the body from free radical damage. Research shows the bioflavonoids found in bee propolis have a role in reducing inflammation and stimulating the immune system, which may help with respiratory health and viral, bacterial or fungal infections. BIF40+ means that there’s at least 40 milligrams per gram of active bioflavonoids.
To these two organic, New Zealand natural super-foods we’ve also added other traditional ingredients used to help ease the symptoms of coughs and colds. We chose power-packed Organic Elderflower, Echinacea and Thyme to add to TranzAlpineHoney Organic Throat and Chest Syrup.
