Absolute Essential Oil Sandalwood Aust 5ml

Australian Sandalwood is grown sustainably in Western Australia where it has been an important part of the economy since colonial times. It is evergreen, flowers throughout the year and can grow to be 10 metres tall. It has wide, thick leaves and grows well in special soil conditions. These trees are known as ‘hemiparasitic’, as they derive some of their nutrients from the root systems of host plants. The wood has a very distinctive smell and is primarily used in the perfume industry and to make incense.
