The Bakels Instant Active dried Yeast is the best type of dry yeast you can buy, hence it is used by many of the smaller bread bakeries, in-store bakeries and home-bakers.
As the name describes, this yeast is instant, so no pre-soaking or pre-fermenting is required. I can be added straight to the flour.
We recommend that you stir the Bakels yeast for a couple of seconds with a spoon through the flour, before added the water.
One Tea-spoon is approximately 3 grams. We suggest that you use about 15 grams of our Instant Yeast per 1 kg of flour (so 5 teaspoons) or 7.5 grams (1.5 teaspoons) per 500g flour.
As you probably know, you have to use luke-warm water (about body temperature) and the dough temperature should be around 30 degrees Celsius after mixing for the yeast to produce carbon dioxide and rise the dough.
